I came here very last minute with double vision, everyone was great especially the eye doc. I don't usually give 5 stars but how quickly they got me in and how nice everyone was I can't recommend it more. Even with absolutely no insurance and after all the tests it was about $300 for my visit.

It took a while to find the "right" doctor for me in this very busy practice. I have to have injections in my eye because of macular degeneration and it is a nightmare for me, since I loathe needles. I have other medical problems that impinge on it as well.One of their competitors went out of business and they inherited some of the patients and doctors from that business, and I think that at times it causes great stress on the system. There are only 2 clinics that specialize in issues with the retina, and then there is a clinic at the UNM Hospital also - but that is "it" for the city of Albuquerque. We are hemorrhaging doctors from our state.After a couple bad experiences, I kept communicating with the office staff about changing the way my medical condition was managed. Maxine, the triage nurse, was awesome, as are the gals that answer the phones and make the appointments. A lady by the name of Andrea (I think that's her name) was very helpful in answering some of the questions I had about my care, and she got me set up with a different doctor, which worked out very well for me.It sometimes takes a while to get the attention of someone in the office if you are having an issue, but it is worth making the effort. I had to make several attempts before I could get my issues addressed, but I think it is going to be fine now. As I mentioned previously, there are only a handful of doctors that specialize in medical issues of the retina, so we have to work with what is available.

I'm very pleased with my results with strabismus surgery.I wish I'd had done it earlier. The staff was very helpful and polite. My vision has improved as well,thank you all so much. Robert Cook
