Have been going to Eye Associates for almost 20-years. Would not consider going anywhere else.

I had my lasik surgery done as did my husband 20 years ago by Dr. Lescher. He did such an amazing job that ophthalmologists that I have seen since are always in awe and ask me who did my lasik. I live in Philly and many of them know of him by reputation. He consulted with me and took my concerns into consideration, and because I was 40 and my husband 38, left one eye slighty nearsighted for both of us, to delay the time when we would need reading glasses. 20 years later, we finally have to use them, long after our peers have had to. I cannot imagine why anyone would complain about the procedure, the cost, or the doctor. What is your eyesight worth to you?

I had some difficulties with my prescription. The doctors and the optical shop all worked together to make it right. They never made me feel like I didn't know what I was speaking about and took care of me. Dr. Fitch and D. Callahan, as well as the techs and opticians were very professional and kind.

The staff who conduct the eye exams were very nice, and professional. My one star is not for them but for the optical center and a woman named Laurie in particular. So I would call checking on the status (some times they can arrive early, sometimes late, sometimes they get lost or misplaced) as Im very proactive on things I invest in. So I call, the call goes to an answering machine, I leave a message requesting a call back. Nothing. So I repeat the attempt and leave Ana other message. Again, nothing. So then I call the doctors part of the business and spoke with Jenny, who was very helpful. Anyways, I received a voicemail from Laurie at the optical center. I still have it and wish I could leave it here for you to hear. Her tone was co descending, disrespectful, and absolutely unprofessional. Anyways, between gritted teeth (from the sound of her voice, she was obviously holding everything back, presumably because she got talked bad to by Jenny following my complaint) she mustered all her will to tell me that she would call when they came in. Today, 11/11/20, I went and retrieved them. After a bit of a wait, I was called back into the optical center. After being told to sign for the glasses, I was handed the box and glasses and out I went. I got to the car and looked at them and they have a scratch on the top center of the left lense. There was still loose lense where it had been scratched, presumably in retaliation for the complaint I made. So, my brand new 321$ glasses, complete with Crizal scratch and glare resistant coating, were already damage from the moment I received them. Im not bothering to say anything to them about it, I know, she knows, and now most importantly YOU know! Get your eyes examined here, but DO NOT have your glasses filled or ordered here, or you risk incurring the petty wrath of Laurie.Update: initially I had given this review 1 star. After speaking with Sylvia and just a little bit bit of clarification, she resolved the issue with a bee pair of glasses and a center allowed me to keep the original damaged pair! This type of customer service is increasingly rare but I would like to thank her and apologize for the entire sordid affair!

This location is very nice. Spacious and clean waiting room. The optical shop is smaller than other Eye Associates locations but still have a nice variety. The receptionists are always professional and helpful and the staff has always been kind and helpful as well. Dr. Beebe is one of my all-time favorite optometrists. She's very knowledgeable and thorough every time I've been. The wait never seemed too bad for me. One big plus is the online patient portal as it has all the information you need and allows you to always access prescriptions and makes it easy to schedule appointments.
