I am now almost 3 months post October 21st eye surgery, which was performed by Dr. John D. Pitcher III. Dr. Pitcher removed an epiretinal membrane from my right eye, and he also performed a vitrectomy on the same eye. Throughout my appointments and leading up to surgery day, Dr. Pitcher has been professional, thorough, and informative as to the various treatment options. As one might expect, I was very anxious about the surgery and it was reassuring to speak with Dr. Pitcher before and after the surgery. Dr. Pitcher and his team, along with the staff at the ABQ Amb. Eye Surgery Ctr. were great. Both teams worked together to make the surgery go smoothly and to ease my anxiety about the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Pitcher to anyone who is considering this type of eye surgery.

The office in Rio Rancho on Wellspring has been great.My problems started when I took my lens prescription to another company.After not being satisfied I demanded my money back and went back to Eye Associates.Kathryn,the Optician there worked very had to get my problem solved.During several visits she was very professional and helpful and I can not thank Eye Associates for having people like Kathryn.Bill

Excellent! She agreed to see me on an emergency basis. She was very thorough with her assessment. She took the time to explain my condition and made arrangements for a referral to a sub-specialist. She consulted with my current retina specialist and presented a plan of intervention which was acceptable to me. I felt she had a genuine interest in me. She has great bedside manner.

Dr sent a patient to the emergency room and did not follow up with the patient in the emergency room or sent anybody that would be qualified to check up on his patient in the emergency room that stayed there for 3 days without his eye drops...The truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God...

The staff is super patient and very awesome to work with! They made my aunt feel so comfortable, which is really hard at her age! Love them!!!!!
