I have been pleased overall with the services at the Rio Rancho and Northside locations over the past five years. However, I must say that on 12/22/21, I went to the Northside location for a post surgery (cataracts) visit, and was seen by a technician that was the best I've ever met. The name on his name tag was Michael T. He was polite, professional and highly competent. He did all the tests prior to the doctor coming in. He was highly skilled in the use of the technologyfor checking acuity and eye pressure. His demeanor was friendly and relaxed, but concurrently efficient and reassuring. He came across as well trained and dedicated to his work. The doctor I saw for all three post surgery visits (Dr. Bennally) was also excellent. The surgeon did an excellent job of removing the cataracts and implanting the new lenses. My vision is markedly improved and I had no detrimental effects from the surgery.

I was referred to Eye Assocuates by an optometrist who evaluated my sight and determined I had advanced cataracts. My situation was diffucult and Dr Weinstein graciously accepted me as a patient. They also determined I have other conditions and had lost much functionality and vision. After 2 cataract surgeries I feel the doctors (opthamologists and optometrists)have performed a miracle (from my perspective). My life has changed completely with the ability to see. Every member of the staff and doctors have been professional and caring. They take time to explain the next steps and answer my questions. The hospital staff were especially helpful in what has been one of the most stressful periods for me . Each member including front desk and schedulers, optometrists and Dr. Weinsten have worked hard to give me the best medical care.

This practice is excellent, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the technicians, PAs and doctors take the time to answer your questions and help see to your health concerns. I highly recommend Eye Associates of NM!

The staff and facility were top notch. I used to take all day to get an eye scan and exam and the past two years it had gone down to an hour or a little more at best. Dr. Callahan is top shelf in every way. I totally enjoy working with her and the technical staff.
