All of the doctors I have interacted with are very good and professional. I have had several eye surgeries and the results are outstanding. I can see much better than a few years ago.

Outstanding. Knowledgeable and practical, he was able to solve a dry eye problem I have with very simple remedies. He is mindful of costs of contacts, and was able to help me understand several different solutions to monovision/nearsightedness/farsightedness. The best optometrist I've ever seen, and I work in this field.

So I see some folks weren't happy about the wait. I get it. It's not like you can walk in and be seen in 20 minutes. I was surprised at that fact also. I was also surprised at the sheer volume of patients this place sees. <br>But...I think some things are worth waiting for. Granted, my last eye exam was on a walk-in basis at Costco. We, as a society, expect things in an instant. We need to learn that healthcare is NOT one of those things. Since I work in health care I try to remember that sometimes the person in front of you is really sick. Or sometimes they need some extra time to understand what's wrong. I deal with that every day. <br>That being said, this is legitimately one of the best actual exams I've ever had (and I've been wearing glasses for 25 years.) I was none too pleased about being dilated, but I understand that it's necessary. I felt like every possible centimeter of my eyeball was looked at and evaluated. I had two techs and one doc and they all made sure they did their job throughly. <br>I've worked with enough docs and surgeons to know that a sometimes curt doc that does his job VERY well is WAAAAY better than a friendly doc that doesn't really do a good job. <br>I couldn't be happier with my exam. Would I have liked to have gotten back a few minutes quicker? Sure! But do I think my exam was worth the wait? Absolutely.

I have been seen by Dr. Javin for a VA-associated medical condition and I have nothing but praise for him and EANM!! They have been very helpful, very responsive, and Dr. Javin is unlike others who do not listen to the patient and make their own diagnosis on what THEY think is wrong. Dr. Javin is very respectful to me, listens to me as I explain my symptoms and troubles, and does not make assumptions based on a "superior complex" that I have encountered with other medical-care providers while dealing with my medical conditions for 20+ years.

I got my cataract removed about a year ago, I now can see very well out of that once blind eye. Thank you Eye Associates for being the great Ophthalmologists you are, and thanks for giving me back my sight.
